Number Of Those Who Died As Result Of Typhoon Yaga In Vietnam Increased To 233 People

The number of those who died as a result of the incidents caused by the Yaga typhoon in Vietnam increased to 233 people.

This is reported by local media with reference to the Office for the Prevention and Monitoring of the Electoral Disasters of Vietnam.

The Vietnamese Government sent thousands of military personnel to conduct rescue and humanitarian operations in areas affected by the typhoon. More than 50 thousand people were evacuated from coastal cities in the north of the country.

Typhoon Yagi, who fell upon the northern regions of the Philippines on September 3, caused strong rains, floods and landslides, as a result of which 20 people died, and 26 people went missing.
