Number Of Those Who Turned To Hospitals Due To Covid-19 In South Korea Over 4 Weeks Increased By 6 Times

The number of those who contacted hospitals due to coronavirus in South Korea over the past four weeks has grown six times.

According to Yonhap with reference to the data of the Korean Agency for Monitoring and Prevention of Diseases (KDCA), in the first week of August, due to Covid-19, 861 people turned to the hospitals.

Coronavirus incidence has reached the highest level since February of the current year.

Despite the growth of the number of infected, more than 90 percent of patients transferred a disease with mild symptoms.

The authorities announced that the process of vaccination of people over 65 against the Covid-19 will continue in October.
