The number of victims of the cholera epidemic in Sudan reached 252 people.
According to the Ministry of Health of the Sudan, the outbreak of cholera spread to eight Sudanese states. The total number of identified cases of cholera infection in these states increased to 7296.
Rains and floods, which lasted in the East African country since June, led to the spread of cholera.
Earlier, on August 12, Sudan’s authorities announced the outbreak of an epidemic of cholera.
