Number Of Victims Of Consequences Of Yagi Typhoon In Myanmar Increased To 226 People

The number of flood victims and the landslides caused by the Yaga typhoon in Myanmar increased to 226 people.

According to BBC, Typhoon fell on Vietnam, Laos and the northern regions of Thailand, causing large destruction and death of over 500 people.

The junta in Myanmar announced the death of 226 people due to the consequences of the typhoon, about 80 are still listed in the lists of the missing.

Many villages in the eastern part of Shan, as well as the central parts of the Mandalai and Bago regions are flooded. Hundreds of thousands of acres of sowing areas were damaged. In addition, the states of Mon, Kaya and Kachin were seriously injured from typhoon.

The UN reported that more than 500 thousand people in a country injured by typhoon are in dire need of food, drinking water, housing and clothing.

Earlier, the head of the government of the Junta Myanmar, General Min Ang Khline, accompanied by other military officials, visited the regions affected by Typhoon, and instructed the work on salvation, assisting and restoring the field.
