Number Of Victims Of Landslides And Floods In Nepal Increased To 193 People

As a result of the floods and landslides caused by strong rains in the capital of Nepal, Cathmandu and the surroundings killed 193 people, 96 people were injured, the country’s Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

The list of missing people includes 31 people.

Most of the deaths were recorded in the capital of Kathmandu, where a significant part of the southern region of the city was under water.

Search and rescue work is underway to detect missing people in Kathmandu and its environs.

Rescuers report that due to landslides some of the main roads are blocked and cars are blocked.

The season of monsoon rains lasts in Nepal from June to September. Every year, people die due to a natural disaster.
