“Currently, the total number of victims of surrogate alcohol in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation is 97 people. Including 5 minors and 1 pregnant woman. In stationary treatment in medical organizations of the Ulyanovsk, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza, Kurgan regions and The Republics of Udmurtia are: 3 patients in extremely serious condition, 25 patients with severe severity, 17 patients of moderate severity and 20- mild severity, ”the department said in the Telegram channel.
The department noted that 31 cases of death were recorded.

The first victims turned for help from June 3 to 5 – they were hospitalized with a diagnosis of “poisoning with an unidentified substance.”
According to the investigation, all the poisoned were drinking the drink “Mr. Sidr”, which was supplied by an entrepreneur from the Krasnoglinsky district of Samara.
A suspect in the production of surrogate alcohol Anar Huseynov was detained. He did not admit his guilt.
