Number Of Victims Of Typhoon “Gayemi” In Philippines And Taiwan Increased To 42

The number of people who died as a result of the floods and the gathering of landslides caused by the Typhoon of Gayemi in the Philippines and Taiwan increased to 42.

The Filippin Police reports the death of 32, the Taiwan CNA news agency with reference to the authorities of another 8 people as a result of a natural disaster.

It is reported that many were drowned or died from an electric shock in flooded areas.

Leader Taiwan Lai Qinde visited one of the most affected settlements – the city of Kaokhsiung.

The politician assured that the authorities will make all the necessary efforts to eliminate the consequences of the disaster, the owners of flooded households will be paid compensation.

According to the news agency Xinhua, in the province of Fujian in the east of China, about 290 thousand people were evacuated due to the Typhoon of Gayemi.
