Number Of Victims Of Typhoon “Trami” In Philippines Increased To 97 People

The number of floods and landslides caused by the Tropical Storm Trim, which fell to the northeast of the Philippines, reached 97 people.

According to the Philippine Information Agency (PNA), the National Council for reducing the risk of disasters and management (NDRRMC) stated this.

According to the report, as a result of pouring rains caused by the tropical storm “trami”, 97 people were killed, 69 were injured. 30 people are listed as missing, search and rescue work continues.

It is noted that about 44,537 buildings were damaged, and in total, 6.7 million people suffered from the elements.

NDRRMC also noted significant damage caused by agricultural land and infrastructure.

The Philippines annually expose about 20 typhoons. In 2013, the taifun “Khayan” took the lives of more than 7,300 people and caused large -scale destruction.
