October 29 is an epic of the struggle for independence in extremely harsh conditions, which was crowned with a victory.
This is stated in the appeal of the Head of the Directorate of Relations under the Administration of the President of Turkey Fakhrettin Altun on the occasion of Turkish celebrated on October 29, 101st anniversary of the foundation of the Turkish Republic.
“October 29 is a special day that has become a symbol of our unity and solidarity and determination,” Altun wrote in his account on social networks.
“We will continue our efforts aimed at bringing our country to a stronger future. We will continue the fight against all types of threats directed against our unity and solidarity,” he said.
He also emphasized that Türkiye will continue in the name of “peace and justice” both in the regional and global scale.
Fakhretin Altun honored the memory of the founder of the Turkish Republic of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and all the heroes who sacrificed their lives in the name of the independence of the Motherland.
