on Sunday, September 4, the Israeli government ratified the aviation agreement with Turkey, ”wrote the head of government Yair Lapid on Twitter.
He noted that from today Israeli airlines can fly to Turkey. Lapida also said that, first of all, Israeli passengers and Israeli airlines will benefit from this agreement.
“This is an important strategic step in strengthening stability in the region, and is a significant contribution to the promotion of relations between countries,” the Prime Minister wrote.
Recall that the agreement was signed on July 7, shortly after the visit of Prime Minister Yair Lapid to Ankara and his negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut. The agreement is part of the contract on the expansion and development of bilateral relations between the two countries that have been achieved earlier.
