Oil And Gas Revenues Of Budget Of Russian Federation In January Increased By 16.9%

Oil and gas revenues of the Russian Federation in January of this year increased by 16.9% to 789 billion rubles, and Neneftegas revenues – by 9.3% – up to 1.8 trillion rubles. This is stated in the message of the Ministry of Finance of Russia.

The department noted that, according to preliminary estimates, the volume of federal budget revenues in January 2025 increased to 2.67 trillion rubles, and the volume of federal budget expenditures for January 2025 increased by 73.6% and amounted to 4.38 trillion rubles.

“oil and gas revenues amounted to 789 billion rubles, exceeding the indicators of the same period of the previous year (by 16.9% g/g) mainly due to the growth of the average exchange rate of the dollar and gas prices. The flow of oil and gas revenues in January of the current year was formed at the same time the level exceeding their basic size, and in accordance with the parameters of the forecast of socio -economic development before the end of the year, sustainable excess of oil and gas revenue revenues over their basic level is also expected, ”follows from the message.

“In general, the trajectory of income income at the beginning of this year, along with a higher level of the tax base of the last year, form the prerequisites for a significant excess of the dynamics laid down in the formation of the budget law,” the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation noted.
