Oil And Gas Revenues Of Russian Federation Increased By More Than 60% In Seven Months

Russia increased the volume of oil and gas revenues in January – July 2024 in annual terms by 61.6 percent – up to 6.777 trillion rubles against 4.193 trillion rubles a year earlier.

In July, income increased by 16.4 percent, to 944 billion rubles, TASS reports with reference to statistical data given by the Ministry of Finance.

Taxes for the production and export of oil and gas condensate (NPPs, export duty and NDD) for seven months brought the budget 7.944 trillion rubles. A year ago they amounted to 4.393 trillion rubles.

The collections of NDD have grown most of all – 2.2 times, to 1.539 trillion rubles. NPPs and export duties for gas increased by 6.7 percent: in January – July 2024, they amounted to 1.022 trillion rubles against 955.7 billion rubles a year earlier.

In the first seven months of 2024, the oil industry also received 1.128 trillion rubles from the treasury as part of the damping mechanism for fuel, which is 72.7 percent more than January – July 2023, which amounted to 653 billion rubles.
