Oil is more expensive again 1 July

The world oil prices on Thursday morning increase slightly on the eve of the OPEC meeting +. This is evidenced by trading data.

The price of September futures to the North Core oil mixture of Brent grade grew by 0.16% – to 74.74 dollars, August futures for WTI – by 0.2% – to 73.62 dollars per barrel.

The focus of traders will be a meeting of OPEC +, which will be held later on Thursday. Analysts believe that the alliance will increase production in August against the background of increasing demand for raw materials.

The situation on the market at the moment contributes to the increase in prices for oil and petroleum products. On the one hand, there is a sharp increase in demand, in particular by the United States, where quarantine restrictions are gradually removed, on the other, the level of sentence remains almost unchanged. In this regard, experts note the possible shortage of raw materials in the current year.
