The examination of the seabed near the shipwreck of the Spanish Galeon San Jose, flooded by the British in 1708 during the war for the Spanish inheritance, transporting the load of gold in the amount of $ 17 billion, two more sunken vessels were found. And next to them, gold bars and valuable artifacts were also discovered, writes NV.
It is noted that the find of the ship has become a pleasant surprise for the Colombia authorities – and not the last. The study of the seabed near the sunken galleon showed two more ships, one of which was a schooner of the republican period of the country (1819 – our days), and the second – a boat (TT Paul of the XVI -XVIII centuries). Near them were found gold bars, team swords and other artifacts. There were no traces of outsiders around the courts, so in Colombia they hope to get valuable finds.
The country’s president Ivan Duka also stated that the authorities began to examine other places in this region, hoping to find the remains of another 12 ships.
