Oldest mosaic in world was discovered in Turkey

In the mound of Ushakli in the province of Jozgat in the area of ​​the Sorgun in Turkey, they found a mosaic of three to seven meters consisting of 3147 stones. It is estimated that she has three and a half thousand years. It is reported by Daily Sabah.

“It was found that the found mosaic is one of its kind in world history. Confirms this and its form – it is quite primitive. We are planning to attract tourists with this discovery,” said the head of the cultural and tourism province Jozgat Hussein Chiftichi.

Teacher of the University of Pisa and the head of the excavation group Anakleto d’Agostino said that the mosaic refers to the 1500th of the years before our era. He clarified that was similar to Greece, but still considers the one older found.
