Ombudsmen Of Russian Federation And Ukraine Exchanged Christmas Premises From Relatives For Prisoners Of War

The Ombudsmen of Russia and Ukraine met in the territory of Belarus, where they exchanged Christmas premises and letters from relatives for prisoners of war. This was reported by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova.

“1,500 Christmas premises for Russian and Ukrainian prisoners of war, as well as letters from their relatives and friends, were transferred by the Russian and Ukraine rights and Ukraine’s rights as part of a joint humanitarian action in Belarus,” Moskalkova wrote in the Telegram channel.

She noted that “the action became possible in interaction with the administration of the President of Russia, the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Federal Security Service of Russia, the FSB of Russia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the International Committee of the Red Cross.”

“In addition, during a meeting with the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on human rights, the transferred lists of prisoners of war and missing, as well as further humanitarian interaction for assistance to civilians, including the establishment of the whereabouts of families, mutual visits were discussed prisoners, ”the message says.
