It is reported that fire brigades saved 28 people who are stuck on the road in the mud brought by a flood.
Portorraio authorities emphasized the seriousness of the current situation and urged residents not to go out and refrain from using cars.
It is noted that in just one hour more than 65 mm of precipitation fell in Portoferraio.
In the meantime, the civil protection service warned of possible strong rains in the central and western regions of the country on Friday.
