In the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana from September 8 to 13 will be held world -wide nomadic games.
The World Nomad Games, which have been held every two years, are the “Olympiad in ethnic sports.” This year, the event will be held under the motto “Meeting in the Great Steppe.” Over 2 thousand athletes from more than 90 countries of the world will take part in the competitions.
The opening ceremony will take place on September 8 at the Astana-Arena stadium. It is expected that the heads of state will take part in it of more than 10 countries. At the opening ceremony of the event, the head of the World Confederation of Ethnosport Bilal Erdogan is also expected.
Belight games are held in the capital
The first three organizations of the World Nomad Games took place in the city of Cholpon-Ata on the coast of Lake Issyk-Kul the same region of Kyrgyzstan. IV World Nomad Games accepted the Iznik area in the Turkish province of Bursa. The 5th games stand out that they will be held for the first time in the capital. The event will be in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, UNESCO, the organization of the Turkic states (OTG), the World Ethno -Sports Confederation and the Association of Ethno -Sports of Kazakhstan.
Competitions will be held in 21 traditional sport
As part of the V -World Games of Nomads, competitions will be held at 21 traditional sport. Among them are horse races, national types of struggle, traditional intellectual games, competitions on martial arts, shooting from traditional onions, national types of bird hunting, horse -drawn competitions, folk games.
Seven main objects have been selected for playing the games, including the Astana Arena stadium and the Kazanat Hippodrome.
The main platform of the cultural program will be an ethnic group that will spread out on an area of ten hectares.
The World Games of Nomads are not only a sporting event, but also an intellectual one, which includes stages regarding culture and science. Most disciplines within the framework of games belong to the equestrian sport. For teams that will take part in the V -World Games of Nomads, 400 horses have been prepared. Only athletes from neighboring countries of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will come with their horses.
It is expected that more than 100 thousand tourists will arrive in Astana
It is expected that sports competitions and cultural events in Astana will visit more than 100 thousand tourists. Ethnosport is usually on the rise in the countries of the Turkic world and Central Asia. Nomad games attract attention with their unusual program. National culture, traditions and new persons increase interest in this event. Judicial functions during the competition will be performed by 370 judges.
