On Syrian-Livan Border, Artillery And Missile Shelling Continued All Night

After the murder of three Syrian soldiers on the Syrian-Livanese border in the Eastern Lebanon, mutual artillery and missile shelling that continued all night, local media reports.

Local residents, worried about the possible escalation of the conflict between the Syrian army and Hezbollah, left their homes in border areas.

The Livans Army statement says that in the border village of El-Casr two Syrian soldiers were killed, and one was wounded. After the wounded soldier died in the hospital, the bodies of three Syrian soldiers were transferred to the Syrian authorities. In this regard, intensive negotiations with the Syrian authorities were held.

Later it was reported that shelling of the Lebanese border settlements was carried out from Syria, to which the Lebanese troops responded with artillery blows on the territory of Syria.

In the statement of the Lebanese army, it is noted that negotiations between the Lebanese and Syrian authorities continue to ensure security and stability on the border.

According to the Syrian Agency Sana, the Hezbollah fighters ambushed the Syrian soldiers and captured three, who were later transported to Lebanon, where they were executed.

However, Hezbollah denied its participation in these events, saying that it was not related to incidents on the Syrian-Livanese border.
