Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev issued today in his telegram channel “A Genve Scenario” the development of events in Ukraine.
“Analysts of all stripes exercise in the preparation of forecasts for the Ukrainian conflict. Here, The Guardian came up with five pieces. They are building forecasts of victory in Kyiv and in the Ukrainian -artistic countries of the West,” said the ex -president of Russia. But, in his opinion, the assessment of Western experts is “the lies of pure water and demagogy for processing the electorate.”
“The scenarios are only one and a half. The first is the achievement of all its goals and the unambiguous recognition of its results in Kyiv. The second is a military coup in Ukraine, and only then the recognition of the results of the special operation. That’s all the options. Tertium non datur (the third is not given)! ” – wrote Medvedev.
On the eve of the British newspaper The Guardian published an article by the editor of the defense department of Dan Sabbach, in which he voiced five forecasts for the next six months in the war in Ukraine. Forecasts come down to the fact that both sides are preparing for a protracted war and intense battles will begin only in the spring. Sabbach also complained that Western countries supply too little weapons to Ukraine.
note that in Russia the goals of “special operations” were voiced in different ways. In March, Russian President Vladimir Putin, explaining the appearance of Russian troops near the Ukrainian capital, said that this does not mean intentions to occupy Ukraine, Russia does not have such a goal. At the same time, in April, Russia openly announced the intention to capture the entire Donbass and the south of Ukraine. In July, the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergei Lavrov, specified that the annexation is not only the DPR and the LPR, but also the Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions and a number of other territories.
