Opening Ceremony Of X International Children’s Sports Games Was Held In Ulan-Bator

In the capital of Mongolia, the city of Ulan-Bator on Tuesday, on August 6, the opening ceremony of the X International Children’s Sports Games was held.

The event is attended by 460 young athletes from Mongolia, Russia and China, Montsame reports.

525 sets of medals in nine sports will be played: basketball, mini-football, table tennis, judo, volleyball, archery, freestyle wrestling, boxing and light athletics.

The competition will be held at the Numdal International Children’s Center, the Sports Palace, the Buyant-Uhaa sports complex, the National team training center, the Och Table Tennis club, at the athletics venue of the Nalayh district and the Bayangol Sports Palace. >

International sports games, first organized in Ulan Bator in 2009, are held for the 10th time.

The previous world children’s sports games took place in 2019 in the city of Chita (RF), and after a five-year break due to the pandemic, Mongolia accepts games for the fourth time.
