Opposition in Yerevan blocked bridge, police began detention

Participants in the procession under the leadership of the opposition deputies of Gegam Manukyan and Aram Vardevanyan blocked the street at the Orthodox Church, thereby paralyzing the traffic in the center of Yerevan, the satellite reports.

The security forces demanded to unlock the road, to which the participants of the action said that they would make the decision only themselves.

Then the security forces began to be driven. Coordinators of the procession called on participants in the action to mobilize and continue the procession to the center of the capital.

Later, the Yerevan police said that 35 participants in opposition processions were detained, accompanied by road overlap.
