The second crew of the team of the Ministry of Defense of the self -proclaimed Republic of South Ossetia was removed from the individual race of the Tank Biathlon. The reason is a malfunction of the tanks, writes “Echo of the Caucasus”
According to the press service of the South Ossetian “ministry”, at the beginning of the race, the crew combat vehicle failed and was replaced by another. After some time, the second tank also failed. As a result, South Ossetian tankers were removed from the competition. At the same time, it later became known that the crew of the team will be able to perform at the tournament on August 19.
Earlier, the first crew of the South Ossetian team won his race in an individual race. The next race will be held on August 21.
“Tank biathlon” of the Russian army international games takes place at the Alabino training ground in the Moscow Region. Among the participants are Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, China, Laos, Zimbabwe and other countries.
Note that several ex-champions of the “tank biathlon” from Russia died during the war in Ukraine.
