as part of the 11th summit of the organization of Turkic states (OTG) in Bishkek, the memorandum “On the creation of the Council of Central (National) banks of the countries of the organization of Turkic states” was signed. This was reported by the press service of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
Memorandum was signed by the chairman of the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, Melis Turgunbaev, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Talekh Kyazimov, Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Turkey Fatih Karakhan and Chairman of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan Mamarizo Nurmuratov.
“The creation of the Council of Central (National) Banks of OTG member states is aimed at strengthening effective cooperation between central banks, conducting joint consultations and research in order to exchange experience in the field of monetary policy, financial stability, development of payment systems, financial technologies, and DR, ”the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan said in a statement.
