OTG Countries Won 74 Medals At Paralympic Games In Paris

The member countries of the Turkic states (OTG) won 74 medals at the Paralympic Games in Paris 2024.

At the competitions that ended in the capital of France, athletes from five countries participated – Turkey, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Turkey participated with 94 athletes, Uzbekistan – with 64, Kazakhstan – with 44, Azerbaijan – from 18 and Kyrgyzstan – with 4 athletes.

In general, these five countries won 22 gold, 24 silver and 28 bronze medals.

Among the countries of the OTG Uzbekistan became the most successful, having won 26 medals, including 10 gold, 9 silver and 7 bronze, and taking 13th place in the overall standings.

Turkey took 23rd place, winning 6 gold, 10 silver and 12 bronze medals, only 28 medals. Azerbaijan finished in 28th place with 4 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals. Kazakhstan completed competitions in 39th place, winning 2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze medals.

Athletes from Kyrgyzstan could not win medals.
