To extinguish forest fires in Turkey, 7,662 tons of water were used over the past two days. This was reported in the Department of Relations under the Administration of the President of Turkey.
In order to extinguish fires in the provinces of Bole, Aydin, Izmir, Manis and Mugla, 2,134 departures were made, the total raid amounted to 583 hours, it follows from the publication on the social network.
Local municipalities, police, gendarmeries and teams of the Office for the Combating of Natural Disaster and Emergency Situations under the Turkish government (AFAD) were also involved in extinguishing fires.
Earlier, AFAD reported that the Five Province of Turkey as a precaution in connection with forest fires have evacuated 3,583 people.
The evacuation was held in the provinces of Izmir, Aydin, Bole, Mugla and Manis, according to the publication of AFAD on a social network.
The relevant institutions make continuous efforts to localize the foci of fires that arose in different regions of the country, the extinguishing is carried out from the air and land, said in Afad.
