“The opening of road and railway tracks between Azerbaijan and Armenia will ensure the conditions for the influx of about $ 4.5-5 billion of Russian investments in Armenia.” This was announced at the IX-Armenian Interregional Forum by the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexei Overchuk.
He expressed confidence that unlocking transport communications in the region, which is discussed in the tripartite agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia will give new opportunities for the development of the Armenian economy and the influx of new investments.
The Deputy Prime Minister explained that the Russian side has an understanding of what projects can be, and the authorities have long been discussing them with Russian entrepreneurs.
