Pakistan’s Security Forces Neutralized 6 Militants In Province Of Haiber-Pakhtunchi

Pakistan’s security forces neutralized six militants associated with the Movement “Technic-Taliban Pakistan” (TTP), during operations in the province of Haiber-Pakhtunhwi.

According to the press service of the country’s armed forces (ISPR), operations took place in the areas of the North and South Vaziristan – zones border with Afghanistan, where the activity of extremist groups is regularly recorded. Pakistani security forces took place over the past two days.

The problem of terror in Pakistan

In Pakistan, armed attacks are most often recorded in the provinces of Haibert Pakhtunhih and Belujistan, border provinces with Afghanistan.

In these regions there are armed groups that claim to protect the rights of ethnic Pashtuns and Beluja. However, in practice, they regularly attack both representatives of security forces and a civilian population.

The Pakistani authorities claim that TTP militants are based on the territory of Afghanistan, from where they plan and coordinate their attacks. In response, the Afghan leadership rejects the charges, denying any involvement in the actions of the Pakistani Taliban.
