Palestine demands from Israel to give out weapons from which journalist Al-Dzhazira was killed

Palestine turned to Israel with an appeal to transfer the weapon from which the Al-Jazira journalist Shirin Abu Akele was killed, Haqqin.az reports with reference to TRT World.

Earlier, Israel turned to the Palestinian administration with a request to provide a bullet extracted from the journalist’s body to conduct a ballistic examination of a bullet and weapons. In response to this, Palestine asked about the transfer of weapons of a soldier of the Israeli army, who, according to the Palestinians, shot a journalist.

Israel proposed to conduct a ballistic examination in the presence of Palestinian and American representatives.

Recall, on May 11, the famous journalist, correspondent of Al-Jazir TV channel Shirin Abu Akle was killed during the shootout of Israeli soldiers with the Palestinians, this happened in the Jennin refugee camp. Presumably the shot made a soldier of the Israeli army.

In the Israeli army, they said that the murder investigation was concentrated on one soldier who opened fire near the place where Abu Akele was killed. However, at the moment it is not known whether he would be charged with. According to lawyers, this is unlikely, since, according to the military, the circumstances of the murder are equivalent to combat operations.
