Deputies of the National Assembly of South Korea will submit an offer to vote on the impeachment of President Yun Sok Yolya due to the introduction of martial law.
According to the South Korean agency Yonhap, the meeting will begin at 17.00 local time (11.00 Turkish time).
The main opposition Democratic Party (DP) and five smaller opposition parties representatives into the Parliament Messenger on the impeachment of the President on the grounds that the announcement of Yun John Yols of martial law contradicts the Constitution and the laws.
To make such a decision, it is necessary to gain 200 votes, which is 2/3 of the total number of members of the parliament.
The opposition bloc, which has 192 of 300 seats in the National Assembly, to provide the majority needs to support at least 8 deputies from the ruling party of public government (PNP).
It is still unclear whether the opposition can conduct this initiative through the parliament, since this decision depends on the votes of the deputies of the ruling party.

President Yun Sok Yol announced martial law on December 3, referring to the participation of the opposition in “anti -state activities”.

At an emergency meeting of the Parliament, the proposal to cancel martial law was supported by 190 deputies. Representatives of the administration of the National Assembly said that after the vote, martial law became “invalid”.
After voting in parliament, the president changed his decision, gathered a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and officially announced the abolition of martial law after receiving the approval of the cabinet.
