Parliament Of Uzbekistan Approved Abdullah Aripov As Prime Minister

Deputies of the Oliy Majlis (parliament) of Uzbekistan by secret vote approved Abdulla Aripov as Prime Minister of the Republic.

At a meeting of the Legislative Chamber, Oliy Majlis Aripov presented the Cabinet of Ministers for the near and long -term perspective.

After the program consideration, a secret vote began. According to its results, Abdullah Aripov was approved for the post of prime minister.

The procedure is part of the legislation of Uzbekistan, when the party who won the election is obliged to provide its candidate for the post of prime minister. On October 27, the ruling liberal-democratic party won the member of the Uzbek Parliament.

This is the third term by Abdullah Aripov as Prime Minister of Uzbekistan. He has been holding a position since 2016.
