The Red Hearts Foundation launched a scholarship program for students designed to support talented young people from low -income families. To award the program participants, an event was held at which the head of the department for working with NGOs and communications of the Presidential Administration Vusal Guliev, the president of the Red Hearts Foundation Sevda Khagverdiev, the director of the Baku information and educational center Gunay Masimov and other guests.
15 students selected as part of the program will receive a monthly scholarship in the amount of 150 manat, 11 students will cover the academic debt and training fee. The program is implemented by donations of local and foreign donors.
The purpose of the scholarship program Red Hearts is to support gifted and promising students, and at the same time give them the opportunity for professional and personal development. Students from poor families studying on a paid and free basis participate in the program. The selection of participants was carried out on the basis of entrance points and academic performance.
“We believe that everyone to whom we helped to obtain education will change the future of our country and the world and make our lives better. For the winners of the program, various trainings will be organized, where young people will be able to develop their knowledge even more and skills. We must not forget that investments in education are investments in the future, ”said Sevda Khagverdieva, president of the Red Hearts Foundation.
It should be noted that the support of the formation of persons from socially vulnerable groups of the population, making a contribution to the education of educated and gifted youth, as well as the care and promotion of the development of the future generation are one of the areas of the Red Hearts Foundation. Last year, the Fund also paid for training for students who suspended their studies to participate in the Second Karabakh war.
Red Hearts was founded in December 2019 at the initiative of Kapital Bank employees.
