The Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) decided to initiate a vote of no confidence in the Government of Moldova and insist on the need to hold parliamentary elections ahead of schedule.
This was announced by the chairman of the political association Igor Dodon in his telegram channel.
The Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) states that in the conditions of the ongoing crisis in the energy sector and the inability of the government of Dorin Republic, to take effective measures to protect citizens and the economy of the country, we initiate the vote of the Votum of Normentalism of the government, the publication says.
“Over the past months, we have witnessed the disastrous policy of the Cabinet of Ministers, which led to the next increase in energy tariffs. These decisions have caused an increase in inflation, aggravate socio-economic instability and inevitably entail a further increase in prices for goods and the prices of goods and Services, ”Dodon noted.
According to him, the PSRM has prepared all the necessary documents and initiates the process of resignation of the government. “We are also sure that the current crisis cannot be allowed without reloading the political system. In this regard, the Socialist Party insists on the need to hold early parliamentary elections as soon as possible,” the publication said.
Only the new leadership of the country, which has the trust of citizens, will be able to restore stability and ensure sustainable development, according to PSRM.
“We turn to all deputies of the parliament, regardless of their party affiliation, with an appeal to support this initiative. This voting is not just a political decision, this is a matter of responsibility to the people who expects decisive and constructive actions from us,” Dodon said.
The Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova continues to remain on the side of citizens and will do everything possible to protect their interests, the politician emphasized.
