“Azerbaijan will increase gas supply to Europe by 40 percent in annual calculus.” This was stated by the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shakhbazov during his speech at the Romanian International Gas Conference.
According to the minister’s words, last year, the volume of deliveries amounted to 8.2 billion cubic meters, and this year supplies will increase by 40 percent and reached almost 11.5 billion cubic meters.
“This means that we do everything possible to ensure the transportation of natural gas to the European energy market in large volumes, given the entire sensitivity of energy security in Europe, knowing all the problems that exist here from the point of view of energy supply,” said he said Parviz Shakhbazov.
