In Vienna, a meeting of the Minister of Energy of Parviz Shakhbazov and the Minister of Energy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Salman Al Saud, took place, Haqqin.az said at the Ministry of Energy.
At the meeting, there was an exchange of views on the current situation in the world oil market and cooperation with Azerbaijan in the “OPEC+” format. The current construction status of the Hyzy-Apsheron chickenpox with a capacity of 240 MW, which was laid in January of this year, was also considered. It was noted that this project, implemented by ACWA Power, will help to achieve the goals of Azerbaijan in the field of renewable energy.
The interlocutors discussed other directions of bilateral energy cooperation, representing mutual interest.
