“In our plans, it is actively using it to develop the interaction of the countries of the South Caucasus and their neighbors,” Rudenko said.
According to the deputy minister, the logic of such cooperation implies a collective consideration of issues that are of common interest, do not aggravate political contradictions and contribute to an increase in mutual trust.
“We are primarily talking about finding answers to regional challenges and solving the problems that arise themselves. The involvement of all countries of the region in this process creates favorable conditions for establishing dialogue, for example, between Yerevan and Baku, Yerevan and Ankara through the implementation of mutually beneficial projects in trade, energy, industry, innovative technologies, modernization of infrastructure. Additional opportunities for cooperation between the countries of the South Caucasus and their neighbors are associated with the disclosure of the transit potential of the region, interaction in the fight against new challenges and threats, ”said the deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Rudenko also emphasized that at this stage, preparations for the second meeting of the format are underway.
“We expect to conduct it until the end of the first half of the year. As for the unlocking of transport and economic ties, this is done by the profile trilateral working group under the co-chairs of the deputy prime ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia.
