Unlocking the region’s economic and transport infrastructure can qualitatively change the content and structure of the Armenian economy. According to Armenian media, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said this during the discussion of the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2022” at a joint meeting of permanent commissions of Parliament.
To strengthen the security system, it is necessary to create a favorable external environment around Armenia, consistent implementation of the opening agenda for the country “Era of Peace Development”, said Prime.
According to him, overcoming the atmosphere of hostility in the region and the resumption of the negotiation process, as well as the unlocking of the regional economic and transport infrastructure can be an additional impetus for the development of long-term inclusive economic growth.
“To unlock the economic and transport communications of the region, a trilateral working group was created led by deputy prime ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan,” Pashinyan said.
