Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has filed a lawsuit against the leader of the Yerkir Tsirani party Zaruhi Postanjyan. This was reported on the court information website datalex, writes Sputnik-Armenia.
The head of the Armenian government demands to oblige Postanjyan to publicly refute the data considered as libel, as well as to pay the compensation stipulated for libel in the amount of 2 million drams (about 4 thousand dollars).
The reason for the prime minister’s claim was Postanjyan’s statement that Pashinyan and his wife received a bribe “for surrendering territories in Karabakh, that they are foreign agents, and the previous authorities helped him head the country’s government.”
