Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said he supports the idea of discussing the situation in the South Caucasus between Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan to eradicate hostility rhetoric, Armenian media write.
By October, during his visit to Tbilisi, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed his willingness to start political consultations in the format of Baku-Yerevan-Tbilisi.
“Today we also have the opportunity to consult between Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia. If Armenia is ready, we will be ready to start this format today,” Aliyev said at a press conference following a meeting with Georgia Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
