Turkish decision to cancel the ban on air transportation in Armenia may give an incentive to bilateral negotiations between Yerevan and Ankara, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a press conference.
Pashinyan said that this step of Ankara can be welcomed, and it is very important not only to continue negotiations, but also to achieve specific steps that would allow the dynamics of the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Turkey.
According to him, one can hope that as a result of negotiations, the land border between Armenia and Turkey will open for citizens of third countries, as well as holders of diplomatic passports.
As Pashinyan noted, these achievements are significant not only for bilateral relations of Armenia and Turkey, but also in terms of providing international logistics chains. With the opening of the routes, the region becomes much more interesting and becomes more important, the Prime Minister of Armenia noted.
He again expressed the readiness of the Armenian side to begin the restoration of his section of the Arazdyayan-Nachchyan-Mogri-Goradiz, as well as a road message. Armenia is interested in becoming a transport intersection, added Armenian prime minister.
