The world between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not only possible, but is also located at an extended arm.
This was announced during his speech at the General Assembly of the UN, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.
More recently, on August 30, 2024, Armenia and Azerbaijan signed the Charter on the joint activities of the demarcation commissions of both countries. This is the first bilateral legal agreement. According to him, many important issues remains to be resolved, and in the case of Armenia and Azerbaijan, coordinated articles essentially contain provisions on the world, lack of territorial requirements for each other and the non -rejection of such requirements in the future, the establishment of diplomatic relations.
“We are ready to sign a peace treaty, agreed by 80 percent, with Azerbaijan right now,” he said at the UN General Assembly.
“If the peace treaty is contrary to the Constitution of Armenia, then Yerevan will need to change the constitution in the name of the world,” Pashinyan added.
