“The issue of depriving representatives of the parliamentary opposition of their deputy mandates in the ruling faction is discussed in almost a daily format, there is no final decision yet, everything will depend on the further behavior of the opposition.” This was stated by a deputy of the Armenian parliament from the ruling faction “Civil Treaty” Armen Khachatryan, reports “Armenia Today”.
He expressed the hope that the opposition would return to the parliament and take care of its immediate duties, but did not rule out that in order to settle the road in the near future, it would be decided to remove tents from France Square.
Answering the question of the probability of holding early elections, the deputy emphasized that there is no political crisis in Armenia.
“The parliament works in normal mode. As for the crisis, it is noticeable in the camp of the opposition, which today can not even ensure the duty on France Square – individual people agree to this, perhaps for monetary reward,” said Armen Khachatryan.
Armenian opposition, according to him, no longer knows how to complete what it initiated.
“Numerous citizens are wondering – and what will happen later, how much more will they remain in France Square and impede road traffic, what is the point of continuing all this if they have not achieved their political goal?” – said Armen Khachatryan.
