Secretary of the Council of People’s Commissars of Russia Nikolai Patrushev discussed regional security issues with colleagues from Azerbaijan and Armenia, the press service of the apparatus of the SB of the Russian Federation said on Thursday.
The message notes that “with the Secretary of the Security Council of Azerbaijan Ramil Usubov, Patrushev discussed a number of security issues in the region, as well as further measures of Russian-Azerbaijani interaction in the field of information security and counteracting terrorism.”
In addition, Usubov and Patrushev signed a plan for cooperation through the Council of People’s Commissars for 2023-2024.
“with the Secretary of the Security Council Armenia Armen Grigoryan, the issues of Russian-Armenian cooperation on a wide range of national and regional security issues, as well as interaction within the CSTO,” the press service said.
