Climate change can provoke an unprecedented global crisis and overwrite the political map of the world at all, said the secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev.
“Do not forget about climate change, which in the first half of the century can block the political map of the world, and with the most unfavorable scenarios – provoke an unprecedented global crisis, which will discard the development of mankind for decades ago,” RIA Novosti Patrushev quotes.
According to him, new technologies, such as artificial intelligence and synthetic biology, are trying to use in the interests of the confrontations of countries.
“Today there are attempts to use these innovations in the interests of interstate confrontation. In our power to put them under the control of the entire world community and make them tools of creation, and not to the guns of destruction,” he added.
