The Pentagon said that the United States is invariably committed to protecting the security of NATO countries.
This was announced at a briefing by the official representative of the Pentagon Patrick Ryder, commenting on the incident with the violation of the Belarusian helicopters of the airspace of Poland.
“We will continue to take NATO’s safety very seriously and continue to work with our alliance allies to ensure that every square centimeter of the Alliance territory remains safe,” Ryder said.
Earlier, the Polish Ministry of Defense confirmed the violation of the Polish airspace by Belarus with two helicopters.
