The leadership of the US Department of Defense demanded that all civilian and military units of the department delete content from its websites and accounts on social networks, promoting the principle of “diversity, equality and inclusiveness” (Dei).
The corresponding order was signed by the deputy head of the Pentagon Darin Selnik, ordered all the divisions to view and delete Dei.
The ban applies to all publications, videos, photos or news promoting Dei.
According to the order, the deadline for execution of the request is March 5.
In addition, it is prescribed to block access to content, which cannot be removed in the indicated date.
On the first day of the US President, January 20, Donald Trump signed a number of decrees, one of which is called “The termination of radical and wasteful state programs and DEI preferences.” The document provides for the dissolution of all programs by diversity and inclusion in the federal government.
