“We reduced the number of patrols … We did not carry out the redeployment of our forces. We retain focus on counteracting the threat from ISIS, in this regard the possibilities are not reduced,” he said.
Ryder noted that the Kurds also reduced patrols. Ryder did not comment on the possibility of the beginning of the terrestrial operation in the north of Syria, but clarified that he hopes for the manifestation of Ankara restraint.
