Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov announced the importance of developing contacts with the authorities of Afghanistan.
“We are talking about the leadership of Afghanistan, it is the forces that hold power in this country, and, of course, it is very important to develop contacts with them, to establish contacts, especially since it is a country that is located in the neighboring region”, – said the representative of the Kremlin, whose words are cited by the Russian media.
He noted that the Russian side makes contacts with the leadership of Afghanistan, however, the decision to exclude the Taliban movement from the list of terrorist organizations has not yet been adopted.
“As soon as the relevant decisions are made and as soon as they are formalized, we will immediately inform,” he said.

The Kremlin expressed confidence that the West heard the statements of Russian President Vladimir Putin about the blows in the Russian Federation long -range weapons. At the same time, Peskov addressed the Ministry of Defense the question of the type of missed missiles over the Kursk region of the Russian Federation on the eve.
“I can’t answer this question. This applies directly to the course of my [special military operation]. Here I recommend contacting the Ministry of Defense,” said the Kremlin spokesman.
The Kremlin also commented on conversations about the transfer of nuclear weapons to Kyiv.
“This is an absolutely irresponsible reasoning of people who probably poorly understand and imagine reality, and who do not feel the bit of responsibility, acting with such statements,” Peskov noted.
