Peskov: Upening tension from NATO and USA “will have its consequences”

The United States and NATO countries intend to continue the war with Russia, which “will inevitably have its consequences.” This statement was made by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.

The Kremlin representative drew attention to the escalation of the situation by the NATO participants, in particular the United States, noting these countries “themselves intend to continue the war” with the Russian Federation, and the “war in the literal and figurative sense.”

“This, of course, will inevitably have its consequences. It will ultimately cause great damage to the interests of those countries that follow the path of escalation of tension,” said Peskov, whose words are given by the media.

“countries – members of the North Atlantic Alliance, the United States especially, other European capitals in recent days, weeks go to a new round of tension, do this consciously,” the Kremlin representative said. He noted that in Moscow they “hear a lot of warlike statements.”

“This is nothing more than provoking a new level of tension. We understand that this negative trend in their approach, unfortunately, is preserved. They in every possible way provoke Ukraine to continue this meaningless war,” said Peskov.

Numerous statements have previously appeared, including from the United States, about the possibility of Ukraine to strike Western weapons on the territory of Russia.
