She noted that the company is already preparing for the production of the drug. “In the coming weeks we will present the results of our research among children from 5 to 11 years old and give an application for the approval of the vaccine for this age group, including here, in Europe,” the TASS quotes.
“We are already preparing for production,” she added, clarifying that the drug is the same as for the adult population, but with a smaller dosage.
In turn, the general director, the co-founder of Biontech Ugur Shahin stressed that the results of the study are already available and they must be processed for approval by the authorities: “Everything looks good, everything goes according to plan.”
